TELL US WHAT YOU NEED. WE’LL BUILD THE ROADMAP.

CREATIVE BRIEF

Give us enough detail to design with purpose.

This guided request collects the project information normally needed before a designer can estimate scope or start creative work. A submission is a request for review—not an accepted order, guaranteed deadline or final quote.

01 — Project basics
02 — Brand, audience & message
03 — Creative direction & assets

Do not upload or link material you are not authorized to use. If you do not have a shareable file link, submit the brief and then email files to info@258apparelstudio.com with your name in the subject line.

04 — Production & delivery
05 — Confirm before sending

DESIGN REQUEST TERMS

The Design Request form is the starting point for a custom creative project with 25/8. It is designed to collect the same kind of information a designer needs in a professional creative brief: what you need, who it is for, what it should communicate, how it will be used, what visual direction you prefer and when you need it. A complete request helps us quote accurately and reduces avoidable revisions.

1. A submission is not an accepted order

Submitting the form does not create a binding production order, reserve a production date or guarantee that 25/8 can accept the project. We review the request for scope, timeline, asset quality, rights concerns, product availability and production feasibility. If we can take the project, the applicable quote, invoice, checkout page or written confirmation will identify the next step.

2. Pricing and project scope

Pricing depends on the type of design work, number of concepts, complexity, required file cleanup, requested deliverables, revision needs, production method and deadline. Apparel or product costs, printing, DTF transfers, specialty materials, licensing, setup, rush service, shipping and taxes may be separate from design fees unless included in writing. Work outside the accepted scope can require a new estimate.

3. When the timeline begins

Unless otherwise agreed, a project timeline begins only after 25/8 has received the required brief information, usable assets, any required payment and confirmation that the project has been accepted. Missing information, late feedback or changes in direction may move the timeline. A date entered in the form is a requested deadline, not a guaranteed completion date unless we expressly confirm it in writing.

4. Customer content and rights

You must have permission to use every logo, photograph, illustration, character, school or team mark, company mark, font, phrase or other protected content you ask us to reproduce. Submission grants 25/8 a limited license to use the supplied content only as reasonably necessary to evaluate and perform the requested work. We may request proof of authorization or decline a request that presents an intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, fraud or other legal concern.

5. Accuracy of the brief

You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, numbers, spelling, quantities, garment information, colors, placement instructions and other project details you submit. Tell us what must not change and what we may creatively interpret. If information conflicts, we may pause the project and ask for clarification.

6. Revisions and changes in direction

Reasonable revisions to an existing concept may be included depending on the quote. A completely new concept, new audience, new deliverable, new product or substantial change after design work has started may be outside the original scope. When practical, we will identify a material scope change before additional charges are incurred.

7. Proof approval

Before production, review the final proof carefully. Approval means you authorize us to proceed with the approved version. After approval, changes may be unavailable or may require added fees and additional time. Production errors that materially differ from an approved proof are handled through the Order Issue and Satisfaction Guarantee processes.

8. Color and mockup limitations

Mockups are visual planning tools. Screen colors, garment dyes, fabric texture, transfer chemistry and printing equipment can affect final color and appearance. Exact color matching is not implied unless we expressly agree to a specific color-control standard for the project.

9. Final files and ownership

The deliverables included with a project are those stated in the quote or product listing. Editable source files, unused concepts, working files, production templates and third-party licensed assets are not automatically included. Physical product ownership does not automatically transfer copyright or reproduction rights. See the Intellectual Property and Licensing Agreement pages for additional terms.

10. Cancellations

Because design work is a service performed before production, design fees may become nonrefundable once work begins. If a project is canceled, any credit or refund is determined by the amount of work completed, nonrecoverable expenses and the applicable quote or invoice, subject to rights that cannot be waived by law.

11. Communication

We use the contact information supplied with the request to ask questions, send proofs, provide quotes and communicate project status. Make sure the email address is accurate and monitor it while a project is active. For help, contact create@258apparelstudio.com.
